Electrophysiology Technician

Position Summary: The Electrophysiology (EP) Technician is responsible for preparing the EP lab and patients for EP/pacing procedures, collecting and organizing data during procedures, and assisting medical staff as necessary.
This role involves collaborating with the physician and team members to conduct various diagnostic and interventional procedures in a team setting.
Additionally, ensuring proper radiation use may be required.

Experience: Required: 1-3 years experience in Radiology or Procedural area.
Preferred: 1-3 years of prior experience in EP or Cath Lab, EKG interpretation, and scrub experience.
Education: Required: Graduation from an accredited 2-year Radiological or Cardiovascular Program, or RCIS or RCES certification.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
License and Credentials: Required: Valid N.J. Radiology Technologist License ARRT, if applicable.
Preferred: ARRT (CV), CVT, or RCIS certification.
Skills: Required: BLS certification.
Preferred: ACLS, strong verbal and written communication skills.
HOURS: 80 hours per pay period
