Options for Labor and Delivery include nitrous oxide, epidural anesthesia, surgical safety compliant with World Health Organization guidelines for cesarean births and more. On average, there are 150-180 deliveries per month, 10 beds with 2 ORs and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.About the Job:The Resource Nurse directly oversees and serves as an immediate, first line clinical resource to staff on the floor of Labor and Delivery. The RRN will demonstrates well developed clinical competencies appropriate to the floor when providing direct patient care or guiding staff. The position will function as an integral member of the L&D management team and will work to ensure operations of unit on assigned shift are running efficiently.
