The Role We're looking for a Content Strategist to embed within the Office of CTO. This role is an opportunity to embed deeply on a fast moving team in a unique company with a highly technical environment. Our mandate is broad, and you'll work on projects that span internal, external, and client communications.
As an Embedded Content Strategist, you'll help ensure consistency and quality across many different channels. You're a strong writer and editor comfortable in mediums from white papers to blog posts, who can consider and synthesize many (and at times abstract) inputs to create a shippable product quickly. You'll make recommendations on how to improve ideas and artifacts and brainstorm with the team you support on how to disseminate their most important messages. The ability to engage on design topics is important in this role. You should be able to think about communications artifacts holistically — everything matters, not just the words. 
\n Core ResponsibilitiesCreating holistic communications programs, including content, for external and internal audiences that amplify and unpack key messages. Content could include web copy, blog posts, social posts, product content, white papers, video scripts and more. Programs could include working through the most appropriate venues and content payloads to amplify key messages to ensure they reach the target audiences, whether external or internal.Partnering with members of Office of the CTO to develop content for external and internal presentations for forums such as company-wide events, conferences, customer meetings, media interviews and more. What We ValueAbility to work closely with technical teammates such as software engineers and product designers to understand, translate, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAbility to quickly adapt to and grasp new systems and tools necessary to produce high quality content (e.g. Microsoft Office, Figma, Adobe, etc.)Strong judgment and discretion, and an ability to handle sensitive informationAbility to navigate in a largely unstructured environment and work with abstract/directional promptsAbility to travel up to 25% of the time to other Palantir offices globallySkilled in information design, particularly experience working with speakers to develop talks and presentation decksCommunications experience involving technology products/softwareVisual design skills are preferred What We RequireBachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant industry experienceExperience supporting US Government Defense customers
\nThe estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $80,000 - $140,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
