Emergency Medical Technician

Emergency Medical Technician We are immediately hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technicians in Decatur.
Qualified applicants may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 relocation bonus if they live outside of Macon County.
If you currently reside within Macon County, you may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Compensation: $78,000 per year (based on full-time local schedule) with employee benefits.

Responsibilities: Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action following progressive EMT protocols.
Utilize EMT skills and medical equipment to provide advanced patient care.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
Act as the EMT team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Minimum Required Qualifications: State EMT Certification State Driver's License BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification Driving record in compliance with company policy Pass Physical Agility Test Some work experience, preferably in healthcare More Information about this Job: AMR is one of Global Medical Response's family of solutions.
