About the Job: Emergency Medicine Physician We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our outstanding team at our facility in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Compensation: $325,000.00 - $380,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide high-quality emergency medical care to all patients. Work collaboratively with other medical professionals and administrative staff. Participate in the development of protocols and quality improvement practices. Engage with patients, families, and caregivers to explain medical processes and plans. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical treatments and procedures. Offer insights and suggestions for non-clinical process improvement to enhance patient satisfaction and workflow efficiency. Minimum Position Qualifications: Must be Board-eligible or certified in Emergency Medicine. Valid medical license to practice medicine in New York State. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively and make quick decisions in high-pressure scenarios. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-volume emergency department is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead and educate less experienced staff. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Additional certifications related to emergency medicine are advantageous. Commitment to continuous professional development. Skills: Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and treat emergency medical conditions. Adaptability to integrate new technologies and methodologies in medical practice.
