The Emergency Transport Center Manger will support the hospital strategic plan and organization goals and objectives by managing LIFE STAR medical crew consisting of flight nurses, flight respiratory therapists, and flight paramedics. In addition, the position will also have a responsibility focus on either Quality and Safety Program Management or Clinical Education Development within the LIFE STAR Program. In addition, the position will also have a responsibility focus on either Quality and Safety Program Management or Clinical Education Development within the LIFE STAR Program.Qualifications ·         Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field. Or, combination of education and experience which provides the experience listed below plus four (4) additional years.
·         Five (5) year clinical experience in Air Medical transport. Progressive leadership experience including coaching and mentoring staffLicensure, Certification, Registration·         Valid CT, and MA Registered Nurse licenses and valid CT, MA and RI Paramedic licenses.·         Or, valid CT Respiratory Care Practitioner license and valid Paramedic licenses for CT, MA and RI.·         Or, valid Paramedic license for CT, MA and RI.·         Specialty Flight Certification (FP-C-CFRN), if not certified, required to achieve certification within one (1) year of hire.·         Certified BLS, NRP, ACLS and PALS
