Employee Relations Business Partner Pay and Benefits: Hourly pay: $40-$55 (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)Worksite: Leading professional development and networking company (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States)40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment, Possible extensionEmployee Relations Business Partner Responsibilities: Analyze, manage and track key ER data to understand trends, and develop proactive solutions.Review processes through a continuous improvement lens to streamline and optimize our work and allow us to scale globally.Advise and counsel managers on disciplinary issues including misconduct, policy practice violations, corrective actions, and terminations.Investigate, assess, and recommend resolutions to employee relations issues.Develop and present appropriate training on HR and employee relations topics.Identify risk areas and proactive work that is needed to ensure a positive employee experience.Inspire passion; inject change and help drive the Employee Relations brand within the company.Contribute to Global Employee Relations projects and ad hoc cross-functional related projects.Champion the company's culture & values and support efforts to foster a culture of belonging to help the Employee Relations team and our partners have fun, achieve their goals, and develop their skill sets.Lead with an agile mindset, focus on problem solving through creative solutions, and thrive in an environment where growth and change are steady constants.Bring leadership and innovation to improve, consolidate and streamline operations and processes that support the Employee Relations function.The team focuses on investigation work related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, etc., with 99% of the job involving this type of work.The role involves regular collaboration with legal and compliance partners.Employee Relations Business Partner Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience in Employee Relations, including leading investigations related to allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation.Experience in hyper-growth and/or emerging businesses as well as large scale, complex organizations.Experience in matrixed, environment; deep employee relations experience and resilience to navigate ambiguous situations.Experience in tech is helpful but not required.Deep employee relations experience, especially in handling higher-level investigations such as harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.Familiarity with HR case management tools like HR Acuity and Workday is helpful but not requiredAbility to manage situations that are time sensitive and highly confidential.Critical thinker able to manage multiple complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently.Excellent analytical skills.Outstanding empathy, interpersonal and listening skills.Ability to flex and be successful in both the tactical and strategic elements of the role.Proficient in Microsoft Office with a familiarity of HR Information Systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work well with the team and navigate in ambiguity.The team is looking for someone who can gel well with the team, demonstrating a team dynamic and the ability to support and lean on each other during tough times.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.Ability to operate in grey areas, balance being process-oriented without being too rigid, and a passion for employee relations work.
