We are seeking a seasoned, dynamic, and highly motivated Permanent Employment Litigation Senior Counsel to join our fast-paced legal team. The successful candidate will serve as a critical member of our team, providing advice and counsel on a wide range of employment issues, as well as managing and driving strategy on employment litigation matters.
Responsibilities: Handling all aspects of employment litigation including class action lawsuits, single plaintiff cases, and PAGA representative actions.Providing proactive legal advice and support for all areas of the business with a focus on employment law matters, including wage and hour laws, disability and leave laws, terminations and disciplinary actions, and other employment-related matters.Developing and implementing strategic, proactive legal approaches to minimize potential risks and improve legal compliance.Collaborating with and managing outside counsel to ensure that all employment litigation matters are handled in a cost-effective and efficient manner.Drafting, reviewing, and revising company policies, procedures, and training materials to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.Conducting internal investigations and responding to government inquiries and audits.Staying current on the latest developments in employment laws and regulations to ensure the organization's ongoing compliance.Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.A minimum of 10 years of experience in employment law with a focus on litigation.Proven experience handling class action lawsuits, single plaintiff cases, and PAGA representative actions.Deep understanding of California employment laws and regulations.Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.If you're ready to contribute your expertise to a company that values your insight and experience, we would love to hear from you.
