Employment Specialist

The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking an innovative and energetic Substance Use Employment Specialist to assist consumers with Drug & Alcohol (D&A) barriers secure meaningful (competitive) employment opportunities in compliance with specific time-related grant requirements. The Substance Use Employment Specialist will need to be familiar with Supported Employment practices, vocational services, the D&A population, social service resources, area employers, job development, community outreach, and wrap around services. ACRE certification is a plus. This candidate will provide employment guidance and support to program participants with a D&A diagnosis or co-occurring disorders. Position Details: Hours 8am to 4pm, Monday - FridayPay is $18.31/hr.
