EMV Machine Operator Schedule : Rotating 12-hour 1st and 3rd shifts available; 6AM-6PM/6PM-6AM (every other weekend required)
What does an EMV Machine Operator do at Fiserv? At Fiserv, we produce and deliver critical business documents such as banking and billing statements to a variety of companies across the country. Fiserv is also your single source provider for plastic manufacturing, personalization, fulfillment, and packaging services. In our Nashville facility, we focus on the production of plastic debit and credit cards. As an EMV Machine Operator at Fiserv, you'll be trained on how to set up and operate machines crucial for the EMV (Europay, Mastercard, Visa) chip insertion process, including CNC milling machines and precision measuring tools. Additionally, you will carry out the task of adjusting the machines to ensure work accuracy while responding to equipment error messages. You will perform quality checks, confirm quantity produced, ensure the batch is accurate per the order ticket, and set up the equipment.
What you will do: Set up, operate, and tend to machines used in the process of EMV chip insertion. Verify the proper functionality of the EMV chip. Work with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in the team cross-training including learning different machines and equipment What you will need to have: Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation) Strong mechanical aptitude Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 50 pounds. What would be great to have: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a fast paced, high volume production environment and understanding of production concepts. Experience with CNC Milling files. A team player that works well with others but can also work independently.
