Job Description Job Title: BE/BC Endocrinologist
Location: Dekalb, Illinois (One hour from Chicago)
Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join an established Endocrine and Diabetes team in Dekalb, Illinois.
The selected candidate will provide dedicated support to an existing Medical Group while enjoying a busy community-based outpatient practice with consult-only hospital coverage.
What You Can Expect: Team Collaboration: Work alongside three endocrinologists and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
On-Site Support: Certified diabetic educators, clinical dieticians, and clinical pharmacists available on-site.

Specialized Programs: Access to ADA-recognized diabetes education program with RN and RD educators at the Diabetes Self-Management Clinic.
Extended Support: Collaborate with on-site endocrine surgery and oncologic subspecialists from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Academic Opportunities: Academic appointment and teaching opportunities available through the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Responsibilities: Diagnose, evaluate, and treat patients with hormonal imbalances, thyroid conditions, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other endocrine disorders.
Provide outpatient care with consult-only hospital coverage.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Offer patient counseling on the management of endocrine disorders.
Participate in educational programs and professional development.
RequirementsDoctor of Medicine (M.D.
) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.
) degree.
Completion of Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology.
Illinois Medical License (active or pending).
Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
