Required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in energy management, environmental resource management, sustainability, business management, or a related field. Two (2) years of progressively more responsible experience in implementing energy conservation and/or efficiency measures and/or coordinating energy savings efforts for a large organization. Knowledge of energy management and sustainability best practices. Knowledge of the use and practice of employing energy control and monitoring systems. Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws related to assigned office. Knowledge of basic operation (such as schedules, set points, and space condition monitoring) of different types of energy operating and monitoring systems. Skill in basic math to evaluate energy accounting and billing data. Skill in utilizing energy accounting software. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Ability to educate staff and team members on the importance of energy management and sustainability practices. Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups. Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with students, staff, families, and community members. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Preferred Experience in educational setting. Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP), or related certifications.
