The Energy Project Manager will manage our BAS energy projects providing clients with properly functioning control systems to maintain critical operation and achieve energy savings.
The types of projects this role would be responsible for range from major multi-year energy optimization projects in large facilities with 7-figure annual energy consumption costs to smaller projects involving critical environmental controls with strict environmental performance requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive BAS energy projects to successful conclusion within scope, budget, and schedule to ensure that the business value of the project is achieved.
Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables and timelines.
Combine engineering principles with practical automation system delivery methods to optimize system performance.
Manages project teams consisting of multi-disciplined technical staff members.
Escalate issues and risks and proactively takes ownership for resolution.
Track milestones and deliverables and provide regular status reporting to all levels of stakeholders.
Job Requirements / Qualifications: 8 to 10+ years of experience with BAS project delivery, BAS engineering, MEP design, commissioning, retro-commissioning, or building energy projects.
Professional Engineer license and other industry accreditations are beneficial but not a must.
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
Experience managing multiple tasks across multiple projects.
