ENGAGEMENT LEADER/DIRECTOR FULLY REMOTE WITH 30% TRAVEL TEMP TO PERM POSITION DESCRIPTION The Engagement Leader is a critical interface between senior client leadership and our consulting team, and generally acts as the senior account executive. The Engagement Leader is accountable for overall quality delivery and client satisfaction for contracted services, including: Translating the Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables into workplan with supporting methodologies Collaborating with a small, nimble team to drive timely delivery of stated activities and deliverables outlined in the SOW Building strong relationships while ensuring project objectives are met within scope, budget and timeline Serving as the primary face to the client on behalf of the firm Engaging in business development opportunities Leveraging company's methodologies and frameworks to support client delivery QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 10 years of experience leading management consulting engagements for a top-tier firm. Referenceable work and relationships with IT executives at CIO/ CTO level Proven track record of successfully delivering Strategy consulting engagements, and achieving tangible results within a management consulting role Expertise in IT Management and how IT organizations are structured and financed to deliver enterprise value Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, and craft innovative solutions Experience in business development, including client relationship management and the ability to generate new opportunities MBA, MS or bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related industry RESPONSIBILITIES Client Relationship Management and Change Management: Building and nurturing client relationships is a critical aspect of the role. The Engagement Leader has exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach. Actively listen to client needs and establish themselves as a trusted advisor for the entire IT Leadership Team. A successful Engagement Leader is adept at always keeping the client's objectives, delivery quality, and scope/ budget at the top of mind. Cultivating long-term, collaborative partnerships is a key responsibility, especially with client executive leadership. Leading by example by actively participating in project execution alongside the team. Adept at managing and motivating teams, setting clear expectations, removing obstacles, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, whether that is the company's consultants or client special committees. Leverages industry knowledge, RP methodologies and expertise in IT operating models and functional operations. Continually refresh their understanding of RP's frameworks, industry trends, emerging technologies, challenges, and opportunities, enabling them to provide valuable insights and strategic guidance to clients. Framing complex business problems, developing innovative solutions, and crafting actionable recommendations. Accountable for the content and quality of RP deliverables drafted by the consulting team.
