We are a technology consulting firm that specializes in helping accelerate our client's digital roadmap in the areas of Product Management, Cloud, Data, and Software Engineering.  About the position: We are currently seeking an experienced Engagement Manager who will primarily focus on our largest strategic client and ensure the success of our engagements as well as continue to grow the account to ensure a continued and successful partnership. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring successful delivery of services. As a key member of the team, the Engagement Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables, timelines and budgets are met, while maintaining high client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project/program management skills, experience working in a fast-paced enterprise environment, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions. They will also have  financial services domain experience and will need to develop a deep understanding of our client's business.
\n Roles and Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders on assigned engagementsLead a regular cadence of meetings with clients to review project status, action items, and deliverablesProvide regular status updates and feedback to internal and external stakeholdersMaintain high standards for customer satisfaction and communicationServe as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and inquiries about both the industry and Ippon's capabilitiesCollaborate with clients and pre-sales team to define project objectives, scope, and deliverablesUpsell and expand current client relationships by expanding network, building trust with high-level executives, ensuring top-notch delivery and communication, and getting involved with their strategic effortsTrack, report, and act on key account metrics, such as revenue growth and client retentionProject/Program Management Develop and manage project/program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project deliveryIdentify and mitigate project risks and ensure issues are resolved in a timely mannerPrepare and present project closure documentation as neededServe as a billable consultant performing project or program management responsibilitiesOptimize and negotiate resource allocation to maximize project efficiencyWork with Technical Lead to assign responsibilities within the project team, and set clear expectationsStrategic Planning and Growth Understand the client's business deeply, including their challenges, opportunities, and industry nuances. Utilize this knowledge to provide tailored solutions and recommendationsIdentify and drive account expansion strategyOwn the creation and documentation of the strategic account plan including client goals, business understanding, and an implementation plan for account growthClient Success & Team Building: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present proposals to clientsServe as a mentor to the project team around communication and stakeholder managementPromote the brand and foster sales leads by organizing or contributing to thought leadership (written or verbal) opportunities including conferences, events, or bloggingLead with hunger and curiosity - ask appropriate questions to help move the team forward and to ensure we understand stakeholder needsAnticipate potential issues and create structure in the midst of ambiguityEnsures the Ippon delivery playbook is followed and provides feedback and ideas on enhancements to our process  Competencies we are looking for:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience8+ years of applicable experience5+ years of experience as a PM in IT consulting or related industry3+ years of experience as a PM supporting technical product roadmaps and strategiesStrong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; comfortable pivoting between both business and technical teamsProven experience in a client-facing role in the IT Services industryProven knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, with a focus on client satisfactionProven experience with enterprise-wide dependency managementDeep knowledge and experience in Agile coaching and practicesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExperience working in or strong familiarity within the financial services domain (enterprise experience with a large fin. serv. company preferred) Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana or MotionFamiliarity with cloud-based solutions, such as AWS or AzurePrior experience in Product Management, Project/Program Management, or IT StrategyPMP or CSM Certifications a plusAvailability to visit client site (McLean & Richmond, VA) and Ippon Office (DC or RVA) What we offer:Generous Paid Time Off policy - Ippon offers flexible time off to help you be your bestHealth, dental, and vision insurance – We are dedicated to helping our employees live healthier lives through comprehensive health programs401k with company match - Ippon offers an industry leading 401(k) matching plan Family Leave - We support the importance of family and offer maternity, paternity, and family medical leave plans   A fun, smart, and healthy work environment, focused on our values and teamwork
