Responsibilities: Possess Advanced Diver Certification and adhere to guidelines set by OSHA for Safe Diving Procedures.Experience with spot lighting, rope fence rigging, metal fabrication, woodworking, and painting.Experience with power tools, hand tools, and fabrication using fixed shop machinery.Conduct department safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment at all times by conforming to established safety policies and procedures.Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor; ability to pay attention to detail and maintain a safe working environment at all times.Ability to adhere to departmental and company practices, policies, and procedures.Qualifications: A minimum of five years' experience working with plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry required.Previous experience with spotlight operations preferred.Previous experience with basic power and hand tools required.Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, woodworking, and standard theatrical construction techniques preferred.Basic mechanical, electrical, and electronic tool knowledge and use preferred.Scenic painting experience helpful.Basic computer skills using standard Microsoft Office software preferred.Must be Advanced Diver Certified.Maintain physical stamina to move freely about the Hotel and Casino, performing various activities such as frequent walking, prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction required.Communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form required.High School Diploma or equivalent required.
