The job itselfThe Civil Engineering Services Group are seeking applications for an Engineer Grade 6B to assist with delivering a wide-ranging and extensive programme of works including major and minor public related highway projects, local transport projects, road safety schemes, and large infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate should be qualified to a minimum of HNC in construction or a related field and have some post-qualification experience. We seek a motivated person with knowledge of the construction industry and experience of highways design standards, project management, NEC contracts, site supervision, CDM regulations, cost estimating, specification/contract documentation, procurement processes, risk management, and CAD. These skills are necessary to perform the duties of the post.
