The Upgrade Operations (UO) department specializes in performing software and hardware upgrades on live customer systems. The UO department's focus is on minimizing customer's downtime during upgrades in order to optimize their experience during the moments that matter. Job Description As a Solution Engineer, enable the proper technical solution design and deployment plan for the ActiveEye Cybersecurity services in ASTRO, VESTA, Flex CAD, Premier One CAD, and Enterprise environments.

Responsibilities
Engage with customers to understand and document current state environment Design and document optimal customer solution approach Review equipment needs, remote support of site walks Create statement of work for 3rd party providers Create and communicate system design and integration strategy Participate in proposal reviews Coordinate with various internal functional teams (Systems Integration, Service, Sales, Product Groups) to ensure all business unit goals are addressed in our proposals Validate and assist with proper deployment of solutions in customers' network Provide deep technical subject matter expertise to other ActiveEye deployments. Provide initial training to customer
Desired Knowledge / Skills
Networking design, management and troubleshooting experience Strong communication skills to inform and collect feedback from customer techical staff Ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders Familiarity with Motorola Solutions ASTRO radio system architecture strongly desired Broad cybersecurity domain knowledge This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
