Responsibilities:Analyzes workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data to improve productivity and efficiency.Utilizes proven lean principles for warehousing and manufacturing areas.Identifies opportunities for cost reduction, increased quality, workflow improvements, etc.Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.Utilizes AutoCAD software to design racking, layout, workflow, and material handling processes.Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties.Interacts with MHE vendors and suppliers, staying informed on industry trends.Conducts data analysis for metric tracking and metric generation.Recommends reorganizing workflow, relocating equipment, and purchasing equipment.Coordinates project work internally with the department and externally with other departments to ensure on-time completion of projects within budget.Works with Solutions Group on projects and data gathering when assigned.Maintains a complete understanding of Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery Metrics.Knowledgeable of Lean, Kaizen, and 5S principles.Ability to calculate the time taken to perform a task or complete a particular production stage and set performance standards.Establishes continuous improvement goals and executes action plans.Participates in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.
