Preventative Maintenance: Assist with routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl, to uphold our hotel's high standards.Scheduled Assignments: Complete scheduled preventative maintenance assignments, ensuring everything is in optimal condition.Electrical Systems: Check and perform minor repairs on electrical systems, including air conditioning controls and lighting.Equipment Repairs: Assist with both routine and major repairs on hotel equipment, including kitchen appliances, laundry equipment, boilers, and HVAC systems.Pool Maintenance: Manage the hotel's pool by adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters, maintaining a safe and inviting environment for guests.Exterior Upkeep: Enhance the hotel's curb appeal through tasks like snow removal, lawn care, painting, and gardening.Furniture Refurbishment: Restore and maintain furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.Guest Interaction: Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests, promoting an exceptional guest experience.Safety Protocols: Operate heavy machinery and follow all safety protocols diligently.Flexible Availability: Maintain regular attendance and be available for various shifts.Additional Duties: Take on other job-related responsibilities as needed. Relevant Training: Completion of vocational schooling, military training, or certification in building trades, with experience in areas like HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry.Hotel Experience: Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred.Physical Capability: Ability to climb, read, stand, walk, and lift between 25 lbs to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills to effectively receive instructions and provide updates on work assignments.
