Product Yield Analysis Engineer
The Product Yield Analysis (PYA) Merlin group at Micron Technology, Inc., provides product software for the Merlin bench tester that will be used on DRAM, Graphics, Mobile, HBM, NAND and Emerging memory technologies. As a PYA Engineer your primary responsibilities will be to support Merlin tester users – mainly by creating projects for all new product designs. That will include setting up version control and creating setup files such as pindef, topo, raster, and backgrounds. You will also write and validate test patterns to recreate and debug fails from probe and the backend. You will primarily be developing in Python, C++, and APG. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating and coordinating PYA activities with various Departments (Design, Product Engineering, Global Quality, Probe, Test, and Yield Analysis).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Merlin bench tester project setup for new designs.
Development of new bench test techniques.
Work with Failure Analysis groups on tactical issues involving bench testing to understand and better support current usage
Innovating to develop tools, tests, and methodologies to increase the productivity and reliability of the merlin system.
Successful Candidates should have:
Excellent grasp of programming fundamentals
Work experience in failure analysis or probe
Experience working in teams and ability to work well with others from multicultural background
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Self-motivation and enthusiasm
Good communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent college degrees.
