Compensation OverviewThe annual base salary range for this position is $67,800.00 - $111,800.00, determined by various factors including role complexity, location, and candidate experience.
What Is the Opportunity? The Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a one-year program where you will be placed in one of four designated Engineering tracks: Software, Data, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure & Cloud. Each track is designed to grow and develop your technical and self-leadership skills through hands-on opportunities, an immersive learning journey, and a mentoring program.
What Will You Do?Design and implement automated, high-performing, stable infrastructure solutions.Support critical platforms and services including incident triage and service restoration.Analyze infrastructure data for monitoring and capacity trending.Participate in engineering support and operations of infrastructure technologies.Engage in an immersive learning journey focused on disruptive technologies and insurance strategy.Perform other duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.3 years or less of technology-related experience, including internships.Exposure to Object-oriented programming (OOP) in one major language.Suggested majors include Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Computer Information Systems.Self-starter with a strong track record of exploring new technologies.Strong ownership and responsibility for actions and outcomes.Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple projects.Strong collaboration skills with a positive attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Aptitude in identifying problems and exploring solutions. What is a Must Have?An undergraduate or graduate degree with a technology major or minor; or completion of a state-licensed technical bootcamp.Legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
