This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command Information Technology and Logistics Support (SCITLS) contract.What You'll Get to DoThe Lead Engineer who shall provide the following during the execution of this Task Order (TO): Oversee the design, development, and integration of technical solutions to ensure solutions align with mission/functional requirements and are designed IAW agency policies and cyber security requirements. The Engineering lead shall have proficiency with networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configuration, knowledge of lab infrastructure design and testing best practices, strong grasp of cyber security, automation, availability, and scalability, and experience with Infrastructure as Code automation using Terraform, Ansible, or other related technologies.More About the RoleThe successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, have strong leadership skills, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.The Lead engineer provides Command engineering designs, system builds, and escalated support to services and products. Provide network and system engineering support services to improve customer service, system performance, and reliability for the C4 Networks and Systems for projects designated by the Command.
