About the Role As the manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled senior mobile and web engineers to build the next-gen platforms to power the future of DoorDash. You will be partnering with many cross-functional partners from analytics, product, design and infrastructure teams to improve the performance, reliability and core architecture of our consumer apps. You will be responsible for driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution of the team charter.

Understand consumer product and engineering needs to build a scalable client platform that enables engineers to efficiently build high-quality products. Leverage cutting-edge technologies like Next.js, Kotlin and SwiftUI with an MVVM+R architecture. Provide architectural guidance and professional development for a team of 8+. Encourage innovation, teamwork, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, and outside-of-the-box thinking. Oversee the hiring process for your team, in partnership with recruiting, to grow a diverse and inclusive team. We're excited about you because you have… BS, M.S., or PhD in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in people management leading platform teams (web or mobile) of 8+ engineers. 8+ years of industry experience. Experience selecting and adopting mobile/web technologies to improve testing, performance, and developer productivity. Experience with managing CI/CD pipelines and optimizing mobile or web performance. A customer-centric mindset and will apply that to building out platform services.
