About the Role DoorDash is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Consumer Fraud team. This team is responsible for developing fraud-related experiences, fraud detections, and verification flows. You will be instrumental in:
Enhancing Customer Trust: Delivering a premium experience to our customers while protecting their interactions transparently on the marketplace. Combating Fraud: Fostering positive behaviors within our community and ensuring all users understand the significant impact of their actions on our ecosystem. Streamlining Customer Interactions: Guaranteeing that any challenges our customers face are resolved smoothly and efficiently. Developing Scalable Solutions: Crafting versatile, plug-and-play solutions that empower both our internal teams and non-engineering partners to effectively pinpoint, evaluate, and counteract fraud. Leveraging machine learning models and generative AI solutions that enable intelligent signal analysis, rapid anti-fraud response, and fraud review automations. As an Engineering Manager, you will partner closely with Product, Design, Analysts and Operations partners to define the roadmap to build anti-fraud mechanisms with minimal UX friction. You will manage a team of backend engineers to build advanced fraud prevention solutions and solve challenging technical problems.
