This role will require being full-time onsite at our San Francisco office to support collaborative team dynamics and innovative problem-solving. BitGo is looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Go Network organization and help us build resilient, robust services and are responsible for working on critical projects with limited or no supervision.

Required:Work experience as a manager or similar senior-level position at an engineering department8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, 2+ years in a managerial role leading engineersStrong desire to automate where possible and build tooling for a more efficient workflowStrong debugging skills and ability to grasp the interconnected nature of complex systemsProven experience sourcing and hiring top engineering talentExperience working in a cross-team environment, collaborating with and enabling other functions to drive broader departmental goalsA self-starter capable of adapting quickly and being decisiveEngineering degree in Computer Science or equivalentEffective written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of and strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchainPreferred:Experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, Go, Postgres, React and KafkaExperience with microservices and service-oriented architecturesExperience with large-scale, real-time, and distributed applicationsFamiliarity with Containers and KubernetesUnderstanding of and experience working in the financial industryFamiliarity with any of the following: digital wallets, clearing and settlement, lending, trading, accounting systems, etc.Why Join BitGo?Disrupting an industry takes vision, innovation, passion, technical chops, drive to deliver, collaboration, and execution.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $180,000 - $240,000 USD base salary.
Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
