Job Duties: Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions in a cloud environment. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring best practices in software development, particularly in the Java stack and Spring Boot. Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects. Work closely with product management, QA, and DevOps teams to streamline development processes and ensure smooth deployment of cloud-based solutions. Monitor and improve team performance, identifying areas for training and development. Drive continuous improvement in code quality, architecture, and technical standards. Manage engineering team resources, budgets, and timelines to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance engineering culture. Required Skills: Software Development Expertise: Proven experience as a software developer with a strong command of the Java software stack, particularly Spring Boot. Cloud Experience: Demonstrated success in delivering software in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Technical Leadership: Prior experience leading and managing engineering teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality software on time. Architectural Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern software architecture and design patterns, particularly within distributed systems and cloud-native applications. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams, including product, QA, and operations. Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges quickly and efficiently, with a focus on maintaining project momentum. Mentorship and Development: Proven experience in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and career development.
