Engineering Manager

Climate LLC:Engineering Manager for St. Louis, MO to lead development, delivery & support of large-scale, distributed remote sensing platforms; collaborate with stakeholders & architects to define requirements and technical design for remote sensing platforms; reduce technical debt through platform infrastructure design; manage, guide, mentor & develop software engineering team. Requires Master's in C.S., Computer or Electrical Engineering, or closely-related field & 2 yrs experience using AWS architecture, technologies, services & optimizations to develop large-scale, distributed data platforms; leading large-scale data pipeline development using machine learning & artificial intelligence methodologies, including Python and Docker, to process remote sensing data; using Jira to coordinate & track project requirements; collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including business & technical teams; applying software development lifecycle methodologies to process and communicate data to stakeholders; using geospatial information systems; analyzing satellite imagery, drone imagery & LIDAR data to support environment monitoring. Will also accept Bachelor's in said fields & 5 yrs progressive, post-Bachelor's stated experience. Up to 20% U.S. travel req'd.
