Seeking an experienced and highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge solutions. The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are executed efficiently, within budget, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, mentoring junior staff, and working collaboratively with other departments to deliver high-quality products and services.
\n ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Be Doing:Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team goals. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical requirements, timelines, and budget constraints. Manage project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and mitigate risks.Technical Oversight:
Provide technical expertise and direction on engineering projects. Ensure that the team adheres to best practices, industry standards, and quality control measures throughout the development process.Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in engineering processes and workflows. Implement and refine methodologies to enhance team efficiency, quality, and productivity (e.g., Agile, Lean, DevOps practices).Innovation & Problem Solving:
Lead the engineering team in solving complex technical problems and developing innovative solutions. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to drive the company's technical vision forward.Resource Management:
Ensure the engineering team is adequately staffed and equipped to meet project needs. Coordinate recruitment, training, and performance reviews for engineering staff.Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
Ensure that all engineering work meets quality standards, and that potential risks are identified and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.Reporting & Documentation:
Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, team performance, and technical challenges. Maintain detailed documentation for engineering processes, code, and system designs. QualificationsWhat you Bring:Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Civil, etc.) or related field.Experience:
5+ years of experience in an engineering role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.Proven experience managing and leading a team of engineers, with a track record of successful project delivery.Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferredSkills:
Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Familiarity with engineering tools and software relevant to the industry.Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Certifications (Optional, but Preferred):
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification.Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
