Engineering Manager - Machine Vision
Overview:
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers to deliver innovative machine vision and robotics solutions for our diverse client base. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Machine Vision team, ensuring project success, team development, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Machine Vision team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of machine vision and robotics projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional technical solutions.
Performance Analysis: Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategies for the Machine Vision team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, or Robotics Engineering.
5-15 years of experience in manufacturing and industrial controls.
3-5 years of proven leadership and management experience.
3-5 years of project management experience.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electrical design, and design supervision.
Expertise in factory automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, machine vision, or motion control.
Proven track record of working with industrial clients.
Experience in software development and programming languages (e.g., microcontrollers, robotics, mechatronics, machine learning, imaging technology).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
