Engineering/Operations Administrative Assistant - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Euclid, OH
Provide administrative support to Engineering and Assembly & Test operations.


Responsibilities:
Perform standard administrative office tasks including filing, copying, ordering and maintaining supplies, completing expense reports, scanning, electronic filing, arranging travel plans.

Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.

Assist Engineers in performing engineering projects, such as manual reviews of modified drawings.

Perform required tasks for the handling of Department of Energy (DOE) Confidential documentation - logging, tracking, filing, scanning, copying, packaging, mailing, and auditing.

Manage inventory for operational supplies and consumables in the Assembly & Test facility.

Create performance reports by extracting data from SAP.
Interface with contractors by signing them into the facility security logs.
Complete other miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.Clerical experience in an Engineering environment is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
Works well independently, with little supervision.

Capable of professional interaction with multiple disciplines and personalities.

Above average written and verbal communication skills.

Well organized, able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects.
Ability to plan ahead.
Trustworthy and capable of handling sensitive information appropriately.

Experience using SAP software, is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
