Job Title: Engineering Project CoordinatorJob Description
The Engineering Project Coordinator is an engineering position specifically designed to assist project engineers and project managers in the creation, revision, issuance, and tracking of Manufacturing BOMs, Work Orders, and ABMs to various suppliers, shops, and job sites.
This position reports to the Director of Engineering and assists Project Engineering Supervisors, Project Engineers, and Project Managers.
Responsibilities
+ Develop documentation, drawings, and provide technical support.
+ Create, revise, issue, and maintain documents related to Manufacturing BOMs, Work Orders, and ABMs for securing quotations, purchasing, fabricating, and shipping as directed by the Project Manager.
+ Coordinate the typing and distribution of purchase orders with the Director/Project Manager, ensuring back-up for our files and checking weights if questionable.
+ Issue work orders and prints to selected bidders as directed by the Project Manager.
+ Maintain the Bulletin Log Summary for each project.
+ Ensure productivity, timing, and work quality are efficient and effective.
+ Create, update, and issue customer maintenance requirements, including spare parts, FIS, TMS, WCM, etc.
+ Create, update, and issue maintenance and system manuals.
+ Create and issue installation support items such as printed tags and laminations.
+ Serve as the point of contact for questions from sub-fabricators and direct questions to the appropriate Project Manager or Project Engineer.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with mechanical design within 3D CAD.
+ Ability to create a Bill of Materials (BOM).
+ Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D and a 3D CAD package.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Project, and Excel.
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).

+ Vault Experience
+ Experience with SAP
+ Knowledge of conveyors
+ Strong analytical and math capabilities.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Basic drafting skills, including 2-D, orthographic projection, dimensioning, layers, and line types.
+ Blueprint reading.
Work Environment
The role is based in a newly renovated office setting with a team of 30+ engineers/designers.
