Job summary
Responsible for planning and executing engineering support to productionLeading the execution of development task orders in support of the M-SHORAD programRequires on-site presence up to 100%

Responsibilities
• Leading the technical management and resolution of production-related problem reports• Collaborating with technical leads to develop and validate high-quality corrective actions• Planning and managing individual projects for critical/significant issues• Coordinating technical activity with the customer and recommending resolutions• Supporting internal coordination meetings and ensuring effective communication• Supporting proposal development and creating project plans/schedules• Managing projects within scope, schedule, and budget• Ensuring completion of project milestones and forecasting engineering manpower• Identifying and managing critical issues/risks• Providing status updates of projects to internal and customer meetings
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or computer engineering preferred• Other technical degrees considered with relevant experience• Advanced/additional degree in Business Administration a plus• 10+ years relevant experience in engineering/defense industries• Demonstrated project engineering experience overseeing technical projects• Proven experience in technical interface with customers and leading multi-functional teams• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation• Analytical skills and ability to consult on technical analyses• Willingness to travel as needed (10%)• Proficiency in Windows XP and Microsoft Office• Knowledge of business finances, project budget management, scheduling tools, and critical path analysis• Eligibility to obtain a US security clearance
