Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Enrollment Operations, the Enrollment Officer works collaboratively in a team environment, focusing on targeted enrollment objectives for all domestic and international regions. Is responsible for processing and managing applications in assigned caseload, as well as advising on the application process, in order to maximize the number of reviewable applicants for the Board of Admissions. Ensures that application services to prospective students are executed in a manner that fully supports the Comprehensive Enrollment Strategy as approved by the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Strategy and Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: APPLICATION PROCESS
Oversees processing of new applications. Provides quality control in reviewing applications for completeness. Manages TOEFL and credential evaluation process and policies for international applicants. Determines whether students are required to submit international transcripts through a credential evaluation company for authentication.
Evaluates and provides an objective academic assessment for all applicants for Board of Admission review. This assessment impacts an applicants eligibility for admission as one of the three Primary Quality Rating components used for selection by the Board of Admissions.
Ensures accurate file management for all applicant and entering student documents. Facilitates interdepartmental transfer of files for student check-in and transfer credit review, including management of documentation from Berklee Global Partner applicants.
APPLICANT UPDATES
Processes any students withdrawing, changing semesters, reactivating or deferring to a new semester. Also processes change-of-instrument and audition reschedule requests for the Auditions Team.
Determines proof of high school and college graduation, proof of English proficiency, and other check-in requirements for matriculating students.
Assists with Audition & Interview scheduling in collaboration with Admissions Recruitment and One-Stop Student Service Center
TRANSFER CREDIT
Determines whether a college transcript or Advanced Placement scores are official and coordinates entering student transfer credits with the Office of the Registrar by assigned caseload.
Provides general advising for transfer credit and participates in transfer credit advising workshops.
OPERATIONS TEAM
Serves as a member of the Operations Team, regularly updating processing and correspondence policies to better serve the extensive quantity of applicants and to prepare timely delivery of completed applications to the Board of Admissions.
Maintains familiarity with the application, scholarship, audition, Board of Admissions processes, and procedures and policies of all Enrollment offices, including technology resources.
Proactively makes recommendations to the Associate Director regarding implementation of initiatives that will increase the conversion rate from prospect to applicant and submit to complete.
SUPPORT SERVICES
Provides support as staff interviewer at Berklee Audition events (online and on-campus), assessing an applicants eligibility for admission as well as merit-based scholarship.
Supports Enrollment with special projects as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES as assigned
Required Skills:
Musical knowledge/background and familiarity with Berklees curriculum preferred.
Strong writing skills and computer skills, including database file and advanced word processing use.
Excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize numerous tasks. Ability to maintain accurate, detailed and orderly records.

Required Experience:
Bachelors degree
Experience in file management or processing (college environment preferred)
