Your Impact:
You will be a key driver in the growth of Axon's Enterprise team, leading our charge to win new customers in emerging verticals beyond public safety. This Account Executive role focuses on the Mid-Market sector, where you'll work within a "startup" environment at Axon. Here, we prioritize agility, customer acquisition, and developing repeatable sales strategies alongside valuable partners to accelerate growth.
As an Account Executive, Mid Market, you'll be pivotal in establishing and scaling our success with early mid-market customers through direct and indirect sales efforts. This is a quota-carrying position where creativity, strategic problem-solving, and the ability to navigate complex solutions are essential. You'll build senior-level relationships, coordinate across large integrators, and collaborate with Axon's internal team to deliver successful outcomes. The position includes providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and training as needed.

What You'll Do
Lead and expand Axon's early sales efforts to mid-market customers in new and emerging industry sectors
Drive revenue growth and market share to meet Axon's strategic goals
Build business plans in collaboration with internal teams and external partners to facilitate Axon adoption
Conduct sales training sessions and support marketing initiatives to increase brand presence
Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients and partners to fuel revenue growth
What You Bring
2+ years in a full sales cycle role for a technology company, ideally in software, SaaS, cloud, or collaboration solutions
Proven record of achieving sales and channel sales targets
Experience in executive-level engagements with a polished communication style
Familiarity with working alongside large VARs and Systems Integrators
Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus
Willingness to travel 33%+ (2-3 days every other week)

The Pay: The compensation for this role is made up of an uncapped commissions and a starting base pay between USD 80000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 120000 in the highest geographic market. On average, the national commissions target for this role is USD 80000. On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role will be a combination of base pay and the commissions target for the role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic market demands and often a combination of all these factors.
