This is a 100% remote working position. Remote Requirements: Candidate must be able to work EST hoursCandidate must agree to a fixed remote worksite.Overview Our client has recently deployed the Orbus iServer 365 Enterprise Architecture Repository and Flexera Data Platform for IT portfolio management, road mapping, and to manage and model all architectural information. The successful candidate must have hand-on experience using Orbus iServer 365 and is expected to perform the following duties to support these tools.
Familiarity with TOGAF, FEAF, and Flexera Data Platform is desired.Assist w/ configuration of iServer user/role management, system configuration, models, and solutions.Formalize iServer 365 and Flexera System design and documentation.Catalog and review existing IT applications architecture artifacts.Review existing IT application portfolio catalog for related attributes.Interview IT application owners and business owners to understand strategy, business architecture, application interfaces, data classification, infrastructure mapping etc.Document IT application logical and physical architecture diagrams in MS Visio and Orbus iServer.Assist with iServer 365 data collection to populate out-of-box report packs (application portfolio, application roadmap, technology roadmap etc.)Host daily scrum calls, track backlogs and progress using Azure DevOps Boards or similar tracking tools.Host weekly status update meetings for staff.Other iServer 365 and Enterprise Architecture related tasks as assigned.The successful candidate will provide Enterprise Architecture support within the following major function areas as defined below: Strategic Planning: Provides a framework for aligning business strategy with technology investments, by defining the vision, goals, and objectives of the enterprise, and mapping them to the capabilities, systems, and data required to achieve them.Business Process Optimization: Helps to identify opportunities for optimizing and streamlining business processes, by analyzing the current state of the organization and designing a future state that leverages the latest technology, industry best practices, and standards.Technology Standardization: Promotes standardization and consistency across the technology landscape, by defining common data models, system interfaces, and integration patterns, and ensuring that all systems and applications adhere to them.Risk Management: Manage and mitigate risks associated with technology investments, by identifying potential security, compliance, or operational risks, and designing solutions that minimize or eliminate them.Decision Support: Provides decision-makers with a comprehensive and integrated view of the enterprise, by consolidating and synthesizing information from various sources, and presenting it in a format that enables informed and timely decision making.Education/Experience/Skills Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a field related to information systems, or business management.Project management and leadership skills are essential.Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure.10+ years relevant IT industry experience.Enterprise-level experience with .Net/C# and other related Microsoft Technologies.Hands-on experience with software development, enterprise architecture, and directing technical teams.Familiarity with microservice architectures, monitoring tools, databases, and containerization.Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices.Ability to think strategically and relate architectural recommendations to business needs and client culture.Extensive knowledge and application of Design Patterns.Ability to communicate technical solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience assessing the performance of software systems and implementing tools used to optimize performance.Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity best practices.
