Position Summary
The Enterprise Process Optimization (EPO) Consultant facilitates improved enterprise performance, focusing on continuous improvement and customer experience.
This role requires deep expertise related to Lean Six Sigma and success in tackling operational challenges, developing achievable improvement plans, and quantifying the financial and non-financial value associated with achieving improvements.The consultant's continuous improvement efforts will be closely tied to enhancing the customer experience.
The EPO Consultant will partner with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise to prioritize continuous improvement opportunities and address performance gaps in each company area.
The role's responsibilities may include facilitating continuous improvement training for staff in all company areas and Lean Six Sigma project coaching.
Position Location & Work Format Ideally, the individual in this role will reside in the greater Hastings, Michigan, area and work a hybrid onsite and remote schedule.
However, candidates residing outside of this region will still be considered.
If working remotely, the ability to travel to our corporate offices for company meetings or events is required.
Regardless of the working format, this role will generally work within Hastings standard office hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, although some work outside of these hours is possible.
Position Duties & Responsibilities Performs assessments utilizing analytical skills to understand business environments and associated performance improvement opportunities.
Develops, manages, and leads continuous process improvement strategies and initiatives.
Delivers continuous improvement training and provides coaching to other staff.
Executes relevant portions of work in scope as assigned and ensures deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
Leverage the flexibility of Lean, Six Sigma, and performance improvement tools to enhance productivity.
Collaborates with business partners to develop a customer experience strategy throughout the company's lifecycle.
Interprets and leverages internal and external data insights to identify potential issues and opportunities to create a frictionless customer experience across various stages of their lifecycle.
Actively participate in professional development, i.e., continuing education or self-improvement.
Other duties as assigned by leadership, either verbally or in writing.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is required.
Proven experience in achieving enterprise performance improvement with quantifiable financial and non-financial gains.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships and foster collaboration with internal and external business partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills as evidenced by the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and business impacts to diverse audiences, including executives and stakeholders.
Skill in coordinating multiple concurrent activities and prioritizing work assignments.
Demonstrated PC skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office products and other system tools such as MKS, SnagIt, and Visio.
