The RoleThe Solutions Engineering department is looking for an additional Solutions Engineering Manager to join the field based Enterprise Solutions Engineering Team. This role will cover the Northeast region of the US and be based out of New York City. The SE Manager is responsible for developing and leading a high performing Enterprise Solutions Engineering team, while also focusing on the team's growth. The ideal candidate is an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, who possesses strong communication skills and the ability to successfully prioritize and execute tasks in alignment with the overall goals of the team. They should have a growth and development mindset, know how to stay self-motivated and lead with a positive mindset.ResponsibilitiesPeople Leader: Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing Enterprise Solutions Engineering teamTechnical Leader: Technical coach, mentor, and problem solver helping with technical escalations and navigating complex technical solutionsBuilder: Identify gaps, show initiative, and take ownership to build out programs and processes in support of the SE teamConnector: work cross-functionally to drive improvements and increase communication and collaboration across departments e.g. sales, product, support, enablement, marketing, etcCareer Champion: develop and grow the team's skillset through coaching, mentoring, and enablementTravel Requirement: Up to 30% working with team in field territories as well as HQQualificationsDemonstrated leadership success as a technical presales Manager for the last 3+ years within a similar companyExperience working at a cloud and network infrastructure focused company with hardware / software exposure requiredStrong background in IT infrastructureandnetwork/security fundamentalsBachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, Information & Computer Technology, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT Security or similar from an accredited universityProven track record in leading high performing sales engineering teams and working closely with sales teams and product teamsExperience building and scaling technical pre-sales teamsHighly motivated, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic with excellent follow-up and follow-throughExperience working at high-growth stage businesses desired, but not required
