Title of Position- Entry Level Drafter Design West Engineering is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to be a part of our growing team based out of our San Bernardino, CA office. Our Set Up Department team offers project support for multiple disciplines by utilizing computer assisted design/drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit. The ideal candidate will possess some Revit and AutoCAD experience, have excellent communication and time management skills, work well in a team environment, and will be proficient with Microsoft Office.
Desired qualifications: Computer Literate Excellent communication skills Interest in the construction industry Comfortable working in an office environment Must have excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines. Ability to work well in a team environment. Job duties will include: Developing floor plans and supporting sheets for multiple disciplines responding to changes and quality control comments relative to visibility concerns and view range. Clerical modifications to technical documents (specifications) Calling water departments and taking water pressure readings modify drawings as directed by various department team members. Submitting plans to city plan check, DSA, and HCAI Targeted Compensation $20-$24 Per Hour Opportunity for bonus twice per year Summary of Personal Benefits Health insurance for yourself.
