Title:Entry Level Microbiology Technician
Location:Columbus, OH
Duration:13 Months + Possible Extension/ Conversion
Job Description:
Will assist a daily team of Technicians by collecting samples, test in-process samples, and finished samples.
Media making
Daily water collecting and testing.
Will make and record observations.
Preform simple calculations.
Help in support functions; stocking and distributing supplies, collecting, washing, and storing glassware.
Other tasks as needed.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office skills
Ability to multitask
Aseptic technique
Microbiology background
Previous lab experience
Education:
Associate degree with at least 2 years lab experience (experience can be college lab work) OR Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Food Science straight from college.
Manager will consider candidates graduating soon.
Additional:
0-2 years relevant experience.
Accepting recent graduates or soon to graduate.
A Master's degree might be overqualified for this role.
