Responsibilities
• Solicit, screen, appoint and train new agents• Establish and maintain rapport with agents• Follow-up and secure new and renewal business• Resolve agent problems• Assist Combined Group underwriters to place business; follow up on quoted accounts• Assist in preparation of marketing materials• Attend trade shows and make in-person agent visits• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Problem solving, professional conduct• Desire to win/place business to achieve goals• Ability to establish and build relationships• P&C insurance license within 30 days of employment - company will sponsor• Bachelor's degree in risk management & Insurance or other business-related field• Routine or periodic travel which may require driving own vehicle or rental vehicle• Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter• Maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages
