JOB DESCRIPTION The Entry-Level Project Manager (Aerospace) will assist the Project Management team in supporting customer projects while being mindful of schedules and budgets.
DUTIES Understand customer deliverables Work in a group setting Provide administrative support to the Project Management team Monitor project costs, statuses, and schedules Communicate between cross-functional teams and departments Communicate with suppliers and provide detailed RFQs Identify resource constraints and project risks Maintain work areas and equipment in clean and orderly conditions, following prescribed safety regulations inside and outside plants Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Maintain continuity between coworkers and/or shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Document actions by completing production timesheets Accomplish organizational and group goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management or similar preferred.
Equivalent work experience in lieu of degree considered.
Certificate in Machine Tool Technology a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, 3D models, scheduling, and aerospace functions Mechanical and technical aptitude, good reasoning, and problem-solving skills Understanding of GD&T Ability to read and understand drawings/prints Proficiency in Catia, Enovia, Unigraphics, Solidworks, or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Understanding of fabrication, machining, time management, materials, tool assembly, and inspection is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Mathematical skills including, but not limited to, decimals, fractions, and conversions Customer-centric focus Ability to present to customers and leadership confidently Ability to work in a team environment Ability to function with minimal supervision Ability to pass a drug test in compliance with the law Ability to pass a background check in compliance with the law EXPORT CONTROL DISCLAIMER: This position will include access to data, technology, and/or software source code that is subject to U.S. export controls under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
