DIRECT HIRE: Seeking an Environmental Compliance Lead for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Hawthorne, NV. This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! Salary is between $100,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience) Responsibilities: Manage and maintain two Nevada air quality permits (one Class I and one Class II) to ensure relevancy and accuracy with current conditions and ongoing complianceInteract and coordinate with personnel and regulators regarding air compliance mattersManage regulatory compliance with permit-required emissions stack testing, continuous emissions monitoring, and inspections. This will include managing subcontractorsPrepare and implement plans and proceduresPrepare appropriate internal and external reportsProvide oversight of internal environmental auditsManage regulatory mandated recordkeepingAssist in the management of other compliance concerns (hazardous waste, water, etc.)Assist in the management of RCRA Hazardous Waste TSDF permits and NPDES wastewater discharge permitsQualifications: Bachelor of Science in engineering, physical sciences, environmental sciences, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of environmental management experienceWorking knowledge of federal and state environmental laws and regulationsExperienced with obtaining and managing permitsAble to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesExperienced with a computer-based environmental management systemPreferably have worked on a Department of Defense (DoD) facilityAble to obtain a "Secret" security clearanceCertified in 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training along with 8-hour refresher trainingPossess proficient computer skills in the use of MS Office and Adobe AcrobatIf you are interested in learning more about this role, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!
