Job Profile Summary
Manage Underground Storage Tank regulatory compliance, equipment upgrades, and reporting for assigned region.
Manage a team of Environmental Compliance Specialist and Coordinators.
Initiate actions to resolve problems related to fuel inventories and their reporting requirements, underground storage tanks, and Stage I/II vapor recovery systems at all monitored locations in the assigned region.
Obtain and track various Environmental Operating permits.
Interact with Regulatory Agencies, Maintenance, IT, Wholesale and Fuels Groups to correct any compliance deficiencies or issues.
Resolve compliance matters of high-level complexity with minimal supervision.
Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.
Working knowledge of environmental compliance regulations in assigned region.
Assist Environmental Compliance Specialist with alarm resolution and needed repairs.
Manage workflow and monitor completion of assigned tasks for compliance team maintenance person.
Job Description
Establish and maintain all aspects of environmental regulatory compliance at the locations in assigned region, including necessary monthly compliance reports, required testing, 30-day visual inspections, etc.
Coordinate required Regulatory inspections with Regulatory Agencies, as needed.
Manage Air Permit, Tank Registration renewals and other relevant facility registrations, permits or renewals, import to Titan system.
Manage the monitoring of annual, and triannual testing requirements.
Manage tank removal projects in assigned region to assure complete, timely and accurate submissions of required regulatory documentation.
Approve contractor invoices up to designated approval limit.
Maintain required monthly compliance records for all sites within assigned region.
Review testing reports and 30-day monthly visual reports and address deficiencies in a timely manner.
Manage and monitor monthly SIR (Statistical Inventory Reconciliation) data and send for third party verification.
Assist Environmental Compliance Specialist with alarm resolution and needed repairs.
Resolve questions and problems independently and refer the most complex issues to higher levels.
Obtain and maintain UST A-B operator certifications for all states within assigned region.
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business or equivalent work experience.
Requires 5 - 7 years experience in facility maintenance or related specialty.
Ability to influence without direct authority Ability to lead and manage a team Proficient in Microsoft Office - change yours Project Management experience a plus Job duties may change with or without advance notice
