ConocoPhillips is a leading oil and gas company, which is hiring a Environmental Emissions Specialist for contract positions. The Environmental Emissions Specialist will be supporting air permitting and compliance for Upstream Oil and Gas Production facilities.This individual will be supporting air permitting and compliance for Upstream Oil and Gas Production facilities.Your responsibilities may include:Preparing complex air permit applications for oil and gas facilities in Texas and North Dakota (TCEQ Permits by Rule and Non-Rule Standard permits, NDEQ Registrations)Preparing and reviewing emission calculations for Oil and Gas production facilities.Conducting compliance assessments for upstream oil and gas sites to evaluate source applicability to state and federal regulations including NSPS OOOO, OOOOa, OOOOb, JJJJ and NESHAP ZZZZ. Develop compliance plans for sources subject to the above regulations.Gather and analyze datasets, for the purposes of emissions monitoring and emission calculations.Collect and support submittal of information for regulatory permits, authorizations, and reports, in response to agency inquiries.Qualifications Basic/Required:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or similar degree5+ years of experience in Air and GHG environmental compliance/permitting or regulatory compliance in an oil and gas and/or petrochemical industryMust have strong organizational and time management skills.Preferred:Texas Air Permitting experience preferred.Understanding of EPA and State of TX air regulations, guidelines and policies, additional state air regulationsProficient in Microsoft Excel.Good oral and written communication skills needed to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.Proactive on projects and demonstrate initiative.ConocoPhillips contract opportunities are for project-based or other short-term engagements that require specialized skills.
