Job Description: Will provide EHS program support services with a focus on the environmental and sustainability programs. Responsibilities: Will be inspecting and maintaining hazardous waste accumulation areas, oversee hazardous waste pickup, interact with consultant and regulator on the SCAQMD RECLAIM program Help manage pollution prevention and waste minimization program, involved in Tier 2 reporting, and help implement initiatives from BU sustainability program. Requirements: Strong understanding of the California Environmental regulations, such as Southern California Air Quality Management District, Environmental Protection Agency, and local Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA). Monitor and analyze environmental performance metrics to track progress and identify opportunities for improvements. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stake holders at all levels of the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives into business operations. Engage with stake holders, including employees, suppliers, customers, and leaders to promote environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives.
