St. Catherine's is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown.
The campus is comprised of a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital and a 60,000 square foot medical office building.

Job Details:
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AIDE RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleans, maintains, and supplies assigned patient and non-patient areas according to standardized procedures of the department which includes, but is not limited to: collecting and removing soiled linens; stocking, transporting, counting and delivering clean linens.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, GED OR relevant experience is required.
Knowledge of, or experience in, hospital housekeeping procedures preferred.
Must be able to converse comfortably in English.
Must be able to read labels.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Required to use mechanical equipment such as carpet extractors or water pressure washers etc.
; tools such as vacuums, floor waxes, etc.
; chemical solutions, and cleaning supplies.
Must be able to lift heavy objects and push large equipment.
Will be required to stand for long periods of time.
