Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsAs an EP Technologist in our Cardiovascular Cath Lab, you will assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time to supply care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other healthcare members. Your care will change the lives of our patients. What you will do:You will be responsible for overall care and evaluation of patients EP procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the EP LabYou will monitor patients during EP procedures, and performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional proceduresWhat qualifications you will need:Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technician preferredA current American Heart Association ACLS certification or American Red Cross ALS certification is requiredA current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is requiredRequired License: RT or CVT required, RCIS preferredRegistered Radiologic Technician (does not have to be RRT if CVT at time of hire)Previous cardiac catheterization and EP experience strongly preferredTrident Health is a 445-bed HCA Healthcare hospital system comprised of two acute care hospitals, Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center and three freestanding emergency departments, Brighton Park Emergency, Moncks Corner Medical Center and Centre Pointe Emergency.We provide care to nearly 375,000 South Carolina Low country residents each year.
