The Opportunity Description
We're looking for an EPIC Biller, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
Resolve Epic Hospital and Professional Billing error.
Work to ensure health system billing is submitted timely.
Patient Billing: Generate and send out bills to patients for services rendered.
Insurance Claims: Prepare and submit insurance claims to ensure that healthcare providers are reimbursed for their services.
Payment Posting: Record payments received from patients and insurance companies into the EPIC system.
Account Reconciliation: Ensure that all accounts are balanced and any discrepancies are resolved.
Follow-Up: Contact insurance companies and patients to follow up on unpaid claims or bills.
Compliance: Ensure that all billing practices comply with federal and state regulations, as well as with the policies of the healthcare provider.
Reporting: Generate financial reports and summaries for management to review.
Customer Service: Assist patients with billing inquiries and resolving any issues related to their accounts.
