Set 2 week schedule with 3 day weekend off every other. Alternating 3 or 4 day work weeks. 12 Hour Shift Beginning at 6:00 PM EST. 6 months: $21.09 12 months: $21.59 Job Summary: The Equipment Sanitation Tech is responsible for cleaning equipment as well as all areas of the manufacturing facility. This cleaning will be accomplished in the safest manner possible. Job responsibilities will be conducted in accordance with all regulatory, State, Federal, and company policies and procedures to best meet the needs of internal and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize all floors, walls, drains, and surrounding production areas.Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified.Adhere to all plant GMP and sanitation policies.Responsible for general plant cleanliness with the expectation of being inspection ready 24/7.Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.Compliance with OSHA regulations and all company safety policies and procedures.Perform all other duties as assigned.Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience working with manufacturing equipment and cleaning chemicals.Knowledge of chemicals and their use.Ability to work independently, or within a group atmosphere.Good organizational and time management skills.Skills and Competencies: Team-oriented; Ability to collaborate and operate in a team environment.Ability to multi-task.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.HP Hood is an Equal Opportunity Employer
